Here are some pictures from what looks likely to be the last day outside bouldering in 2012 in Alaska. David and I managed to put up three more new problems last Friday on boulders I thought were fully developed a long time ago: a new v5 face called Indian Summer which takes the bright white face to the right of Indianhead Arete and finishes on the arete, two new slabs(v1 and v2) on Mr. Big boulder to the right of Mr. Big.

Pouring a nice hot cup of cocoa under my new project. The two new slab problems are on the slab on the left of the picture.
Congratulations on climbing Marmot Meadow, the v5 face to the right of Indian Head arete. We named the problem this when we climbed it 7 YEARS ago. Probably before you had ever been to hatcher pass. Just because its not on facebook doesnt mean it didnt happen. Please get it right before you go spraying another bookload of bullshit.
Thanks for the update on the name. I thought it possible that the face had been done before, but wasn’t certain as there was still a bit of cleaning to do. I guess that’s what happens after 7 years of little to no traffic.
If you’d like to help contribute, then by all means please offer to help. Otherwise what gets printed will be to the best of my knowledge.
